April Book: The River of Doubt

For April, Mom has chosen The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey by Candice Millard. All files are in the Dropbox.

March Book: The First Phone Call from Heaven

For March, Dad has chosen The First Phone Call from Heaven by Mitch Albom. We should all be proud of Dad for narrowing it down to a single book, this time around. Ebook files are in the dropbox. I should have the audio files in the folder in a day or two.

Good news: I finally got audio files for Julie's choice, Elantris. I'll be ripping them, today, and they should be online by this evening.

February Book: Elantris

For February, Julie has chosen Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. The epub/mobi files are in the dropbox. The audio is on hold at the library, but it may take a long time to get here as I'm way down on the waiting list.

An interesting item of note: Brandon Sanderson, in addition to being a widely acclaimed author, is also an adjunct professor at BYU. He served a mission in Seoul, South Korea, majored in English at BYU, and got a MA from BYU in creative writing. Elantris was his first published novel, which he wrote while he was a student, and which was published just after he graduated.

January Book: The Scorch Trials

Sarah's choice for January is The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. This is the sequel to Donovan's choice from a while back, The Maze Runner. So, if you skipped that one, you might want to go back and read it, as well.

With December being so busy, no book for this month. However, consider reading some Christmas books. Or catch up on a book you missed this year. Or pre-read your selection for the coming year.
