February Book: Agenda 21: Into the Shadows

Sarah's choice for this month is Agenda 21: Into the Shadows by Harriet Parke, also tagged with Glenn Beck as owner of the publication rights.

Unfortunately, because this is a brand new book, I have been unable to locate either an ebook or audiobook of this title, so you're on your own to find a paper copy from the library or other source.

Also note, this is a sequel to Agenda 21 also by Harriet Parke/Glenn Beck.

January Book: As You Wish

For January, Doug has chosen the book As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride by Cary Elwes. Cary Elwes, as we all know, was Westley, or the Dread Pirate Roberts in the movie. So, it should be good.

Appropriate ebook files are in the dropbox. However, the audiobook is on order from the library and is not yet available. So, it looks like print is the way to go, this time!

December: None

There will be no book for December.

As we did last year, we'll forego a book during this busy busy month. If you missed one along the way, this year, go back and pick it up!

Or, if you didn't miss any, perhaps read something Christmas-y like A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens or Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. There are so many good choices.

November Book: Their Eyes Were Watching God

For November, Tanya has chosen Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.

Files will be in the dropbox by November.

October Book: Crime and Punishment

For September, Olya has chosen Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevski.

If that feels too heavy or long for you, you can opt for the alternate, The Long Walk by Slavomir Rawicz.

Files will be in the dropbox as soon as I can get them.

September Book: The Maze Runner

For September, Donovan has chosen The Maze Runner by James Dashner.

Coincidentally, the Salt Lake County Library's September reading challenge is to read a book by a local (Utah) author. James Dashner is a resident of Utah and a graduate of Brigham Young University, so you could complete that challenge with this book, as well. This book has recently been adapted to a film, which opens this month (9-19-14), as well. It should be an exciting read.

The epub and mobi are in the dropbox, and the audio will be, shortly.

August Book: Dark Memories

It's Ilene's turn this month, and she has chosen Dark Memories by Jeffrey S. Savage. We have the audio files available in the dropbox. I was unable to find ebooks, but paper are available through the Salt Lake County library system. Jeffrey S. Savage is an LDS author, so his stuff can be hard to find. For those who are wondering, the characters are not LDS, and the setting is not in Utah. It is the first book in the "Horror" genre to be published by Covenant Communications. Should be interesting...
